Le damier ressemble à la peinture, qu’il soit brillant ou mat, les couleurs se livrent bataille. Deux couleurs stratèges : les bleus rêveurs et leurs concurrents, les blancs. Quelle couleur renversera le Roi ? Elles se prêtent au jeu et luttent en cadence pour remporter la victoire. Erreur fatale, les bleus s’exclament : Echec et Mat ! Pour cet imprimé, j’ai laissé mon pinceau bouger tels les pions sur le damier, d’une case bleue à une autre.
